Our Staff

We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Kids ‘R’ Kids.

Jessica Hutson, Director

Jessica has been working in the Early Childhood Education field since July of 2002.  She was raised in Lubbock, Texas and knew from an early age that working with children was what she was meant to be doing.  She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor`s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies.  Jessica feels that educating young children is one of the most important jobs a person can hold and is honored to be part of molding the future.  She moved to Sugar Land in March of 2009 to work at Kids R Kids #25.  From there she came to Kids R Kids #48 in Cypress.  Jessica enjoys traveling and is a huge sports fan; especially Texas Tech sports and the Dallas Cowboys.

Kathy Johnson, Assistant Director  

Kathy has been the Assistant Director of Kids R Kids Cypress since the school opened in March 2007.  Prior to this position, Kathy worked at our sister school on Keith Harrow Blvd for 2 years.  In that time, she has served as an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher.  Kathy handles enrollment, children`s files, and assists in overseeing the daily operations of the center.  Kathy is a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan, is married to David,  and has two children, Zachary & Kendall. 

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty & personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations to provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.
